Day 5: Florence, Italy – Tuesday, July 7, 2015

We had a wonderful day in Florence!

We started our day by first seeing the North Doors of the Baptistery by Ghiberti. They are magnificent pieces of art sculpted on these doors.

Then we walked to the National Museum at the Bargello:

Then we went to the Accademia and saw the following:

The group was on its own in the afternoon.

Here is a picture of a children’s choir we happened upon walking back from dinner at 10:30pm. Because of this Renaissance church, the acoustics were amazing. A perfect end to the day.
