The Ark Software
A few years ago, a dedicated group of Christian Scientists formed a company called Ark Publications, LLC. They saw the need to offer a software package that would make the Christian Science periodicals, specifically, the Christian Science Sentinel 1889-1922, The Christian Science Journal 1883-1922, and the Christian Science Quarterly 1904-1992, easily accessible to the computer-oriented Bible student. Thus, The Ark: Christian Science Collection 1.0 version was released for sale on February 21, 2009.
Ark Publications wished to concentrate their efforts on producing software, so they chose Biblos Foundation and Longyear Museum to be the sales and customer service distributors of Ark Publication’s products.

Ever listening to the market, it was later perceived by Ark Publications that Bible students would find a more complete software package useful for enhancing their educational and inspirational study needs. Ark Publications then created the most comprehensive Christian Science software available and introduced The Ark: Christian Science Collection, 2.0 version, on October 18, 2010. This powerful search engine includes: the King James Version of the Bible; all of Mary Baker Eddy’s published writings; reference links between the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s works; Sentinel, Journal, and Quarterly periodicals from the 1.0 version; Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance with Gesenius’ and Thayer’s Lexicons; a complete historical timeline of the Christian Science movement; and, in addition, a project reference tool for storing, organizing, and saving notes from research done by the user!
The Ark 2.0 version is compatible with the PC Windows 7, Vista, and XP operating systems. It is also compatible with Mac OS 10.5 or higher. It works with Firefox 3.5 or higher browser, Safari 4.0 or higher, and Explorer 7.0 or higher. Adobe Flash Player 10.1.0 or higher supports the video and sound functions of The Ark software.
The third product introduced to the market by Ark Publications was a hard-bound book, entitled, By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them (Matt. 7:20). This is a collection of selected testimonies of healing from early Christian Science periodicals from 1889-1922 (testimonies, incidentally, that are found in The Ark software).
The book begins with testimonies written by children and illustrates how naturally childlike thought understands and demonstrates the Christ. The second chapter contains children’s testimonies written by parents and highlights the success of parents’ unyielding reliance on God for their children’s welfare and safety. In the final chapter, adults share the joyous, life-changing freedom that results from practicing Christian Science.
