Do we need a redeemer? Do we require redemption? What should the Passion narratives evoke in us? Are we to indulge in an emotional bewailing of Jesus’ experience on the cross, or can we study the story in a radically different light – as the illustration of redemption? This talk is a brief discussion answering those questions from the perspective of Jesus’ victory over death and the grave.
