Parable of the Prodigal Son

Parable of the Prodigal Son

This 27-minute talk discusses the parable of the Prodigal Son. It is one of the most well-known stories in the Gospels. It follows the parable of the Lost Sheep and the parable of the Lost Coin. Its relevancy has stood the test of time. As the parable is read, we might ask ourselves, what do the actions of the prodigal teach us? What do the actions of the father teach us? What does the older brother teach us? And finally, what are the spiritual lessons this parable offers? There is a timeless message in this story, and our goal as Bible students is to discover it.
