“Healing as Practised by Jesus” by Samuel Greenwood
About the author: Samuel Greenwood was born in London, Ontario, in 1861. He turned to Christian Science after ten years of unsuccessful medical treatment for a longstanding eye condition. He writes of his healing: “no one need despair who goes to God, for ‘He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him;’” (see Samuel Greenwood, “Be it Slow or Fast,” Christian Science Sentinel, February 13, 1904, pp. 373-374). Years later, Samuel Greenwood becomes a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science and a prolific writer for the Christian Science periodicals (1896-1945).
