Mary Baker Eddy describes the Cause of Christian Science as “the greatest and holiest of all causes” (“Sunday Services on July Fourth,” Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896, p. 177). Our Leader writes in the Manual of The Mother Church, “. . . whenever God calls a member to bear testimony to Truth and to defend the Cause of Christ, he shall do it with love and without fear” (Article VIII, SECT. 25, p. 48).

Does defending the Cause of Christ include defending the institution of the Church that supports the Cause? Through Mrs. Eddy’s founding of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Massachusetts, the world continually benefits from its healing influence. Her Church has come to save humanity from sickness, sin, and death. Is this not a mission worth defending? Explore this topic with us as we consider what might be required to preserve the sacred purpose of our Church.

Please order one ticket per person. To receive an emailed link to this talk, add the # of tickets your need to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
