One week after Jesus' ascension, Jews celebrate the "Feast of Weeks" - a feast after the end of the barley harvest. It's also known as "the Pentecost" because the feast occurs 50 days after the first day of Passover. But this celebration is unique. It becomes the first test for the early Christian church: Can the church survive without the presence of the founder? This talk will explore the answer to that question through a discussion of the Pentecost as recorded in the second chapter of the Book of Acts. Approximately 21 minutes.
