Director of Marketing
Employee Since: 2014
Ashley joined Biblos Foundation to lead marketing and design production. She graduated from Principia College with a B.A. in Studio Art, Graphic Design track, as well as in Business Administration.
Before joining Biblos, she worked for Consolidated Graphics for six years—a full-service commercial printing company. There, she gained a wide range of skills and experiences as she worked in every department. She graduated from their leadership development program, becoming proficient in all areas of print production and management. This included customer facing print on demand websites, to file prep, print on paper, fulfillment pack-outs and finally, shipping the final product. She worked at their technology center in Houston, Texas, gaining extensive training building print-on-demand websites, and then returned to the field to support the St. Louis office with their customer-facing print-on-demand websites. She also started their St. Louis-based Large Format division, and managed their most successful division in Fulfillment, responsible for their largest multi-million dollar accounts.
Ashley is overjoyed to be with Biblos—in an industry of giving! The decision for this career change became very clear when she traveled with Biblos in the Spring of 2014 to Israel where her focus on the Bible became prominent. She feels that nothing is more rewarding than being able to share this love for the Bible. She values being a part of an organization where the main goal is to give.
This precedent of giving became even more apparent when she traveled to Turkey in July of 2014 with Biblos. “Nothing can change your view of life more than getting out of your comfort zone and thinking solely about how you can better serve God.” There, she learned the significance of what Paul did for Christianity and about his letters to the seven Churches in Revelation.
Ashley is a class-taught Christian Scientist and a member of The Mother Church. She currently lives in Ballwin, Missouri, and attends the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Clarkson Valley, Missouri.

Josh Henn comes to us after 11 years in the IT staffing and consulting industry. During this time he achieved many promotions including a five-year stretch of recognition as a member of the company’s President’s Club for high performance, a five-year stretch as a top-three performer within his discipline, and a member of the company’s dedicated leadership team. Unknown to him during this time, he was simply grooming the necessary skills in communication and patience that would eventually allow him to effectively transition to the Biblos Foundation.
While traveling with us on our tour to Israel in April 2014, Josh’s hunger for biblical studies exploded. He claims it is by far the most enriching experience of his life which naturally led him to join our team here at Biblos. Since becoming a member of our team he has assumed the role of Director of Business and Membership Development. In addition to supporting our membership and helping to develop new business opportunities, he also edits our talks and videos. He coordinates many of our multi-media efforts, including our Facebook page, where you can find daily updates about our foundation.
Josh is a lifelong Christian Scientist and a member of The Mother Church. He is a Principia graduate (US’95, C’01) with a Major in Mass Communications. He currently lives in Ballwin, Missouri, with his wife Alyssa, and they are members of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Clarkson Valley, MO.

Following graduation from Principia Junior College, Betty Smith’s love of the English language and attention to detail led her into secretarial work for various employers, including the Omaha Chief of Police, the Committee on Publication for Nebraska, and 24 years in the Alumni & Development Department on Principia’s St. Louis campus. In the latter position she worked closely with Principia’s Publications Department, researching and proofreading information to be included in their alumni magazine. Prior to moving to St. Louis to enroll their children in Principia, Betty and her husband Cliff ran their own commercial and industrial lighting consulting and sales business in Omaha, Nebraska, for 13 years.
Betty is a lifelong Christian Scientist. Her special love of the Bible was kindled as a sophomore in a Principia College class on the Bible taught by a Bible scholar. Its spiritual meaning grew during Christian Science class instruction from a teacher who herself was a student of the Bible. Happily, Biblos provides a continuing education. Being able to help them gives Betty much joy, as their work has a ripple effect and goes out to bless so many.
Betty is a member of The Mother Church and is currently attending First Church of Christ, Scientist, Creve Coeur, Missouri.
